The Latrobe Catchment Landcare Network (LCLN) is seeking expressions of interest for new Board Members – including the Chair – to guide our next chapter of growth and impact.
We support nearly 20 Landcare groups across West Gippsland, driving projects in sustainable farming, habitat restoration, and community education. As a board member, you’ll join a respected grassroots movement committed to land stewardship, community action, and environmental resilience.
We’re looking for individuals with skills or experience in:
· Environmental stewardship or Landcare
· Governance, strategy, or financial oversight
· Community engagement or advocacy
Leadership, facilitation, or collaboration
We particularly welcome applications from:
· First Nations people
· Women and gender-diverse candidates
· Young leaders and emerging professionals
People with strong ties to rural or regional Gippsland
Commitment: Quarterly board meetings (hybrid), plus occasional working groups or events. All roles are voluntary with induction and support provided.

Latrobe Catchment Landcare Network Facilitator
Key responsibilities:
Support 19 local Landcare groups
Build partnerships & drive community engagement
Promote projects in biodiversity, weeds, pest control, tree planting
You bring:
Experience/qualifications in NRM, environment or community development
Strong communication & organisational skills
Ability to write grants, work independently, manage priorities
Driver’s licence, Police Check & Working With Children Check
